JOURNEYMAN are hoping to be performing some live dates in 2022, news coming soon.

Gavin was commissioned by Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival to write for a collaboration between his Journeyman project and the Scottish Ensemble. Forty minutes of new music reflecting Galloway, aspects of its landscape, people and culture. Many thanks to all involved in making this concert happen, including the audience - you were all well worthy of the standing ovation it received. It'd be great to take this show beyond this first performance and develop it further. This is a promotional montage of edits from that evening.

Copy from the Scottish Ensemble website: "Scottish Ensemble joined the celebrated musicians of Gavin Marwick’s Journeyman Project for Impressions of Galloway, an evening fusing traditional and classical music and featuring new compositions by renowned fiddle player Gavin Marwick. Inspired by the Galloway landscape and culture, these new works were specially written for this powerful premiere performance at the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival."
